Well at last the project is ready.

We have created a series of hypnotherapy CDs for those pupils who suffer with driving test nerves.

I had an idea for this after receiving a mailshot out of the blue from a local hypnotherapist who was targeting local driving schools to see if she could offer their pupils any help in passing their driving test.

I called her and arranged a meeting with her. We discussed her methods and I gave her details on the driving test procedures to help her tailor her sessions to be more helpful to these clients. I asked her if she was interested in making any recordings, but she just wasn't interested.

I also asked her how many instructors had got back to her. The answer.....none, except for me.

This really got me thinking, and wondering whether it would be a good idea to create something to help nervous pupils. But my problem was, how do I find a hypnotherapist? 

Then out of the blue a friend of mine who I haven't seen for about 10 years contacted me out of the blue. He used to be an ADI, gave it up for a few years, became an examiner for about 2 years, then became a social worker. He told me that in the meantime he had trained as a hypnotherapist. GREAT! Not only was he a fully qualified hypnotherapist, but he was an ex ADI and an ex Examiner. I put my idea to him and arranged to meet up after my 2-week holiday which I was leaving for the next day....how inconvenient.

We met up at his local pub and he was very keen. We arranged for him to come up with a sample script. He did this and the script was really good. But unfortunately he decided to back out as he thought that it wouldn't work as there was quite a few other hypnotherapy CDs already on the market.

I then had to find another hypnotherpist. Luckily as I was registered on Twitter I noticed that one of the people who decided to 'follow' me was a fully qualified hypnotherpaist. I contacted him and arranged to meet up with him. He was very keen. To cut a long story short, we drafted up a load of scripts and went to the Nick James studios and recorded 10 CDs.
